ENCO’s Raptor Sparks AI Subtitling in the Cloud at ISE 2026

Novi, MI, January 27, 2026 – ENCO takes its award-winning captioning, subtitling and translation solutions into new territory with Raptor, a cloud-based encoder with quick-deploy capabilities built for live AV and broadcast events. ISE 2026 marks Raptor’s AV industry debut following previews at IBC and NAB New York, adding a powerful new option alongside ENCO’s market-leading enCaption and enTranslate solutions. ENCO will show the latest features and improvements for all three brands at Stand EA780.

Raptor’s pure software infrastructure offers a simple, straightforward and immediate way to embed captions and subtitles into a live program stream that originates from any location. Hosted by longtime ENCO partner StreamGuys, Raptor introduces a secure and reliable live streaming captioning service to event producers seeking to bring government, education, broadcast, and live sports, corporate and worship events and more to television or streaming platforms.

“Raptor was introduced to take live content from any broadcast,AV, or hybrid source, embed captions, and send that content back out in real time,” said Ken Frommert, President, ENCO. “This is an essential need for cloud-based and decentralized workflows, which are now the norm for many live event producers. As hosted on the StreamGuys infrastructure with no physical encoder to maintain, customers have an agile solution that is quick to configure with the ability to inject captions at nearly any stage.”

Many AV environments also prefer or even require on-prem solutions for generating captions, subtitles and time-stamped transcripts, which is offered throughout ENCO’s product line. Also deployable in cloud or hybrid form, enCaption combines machine learning with advanced speech-to-text conversion and grammatical structure analysis to deliver exceptional accuracy with extremely low latency. Paired with enTranslate, the complete solution provides a seamless and interoperable solution for serving diverse audiences inside classrooms, courtrooms, meeting spaces and live staged events.

ISE audiences will get their first look at ENCO’s powerful AI-driven voice fingerprinting technology, which breaks new ground in speaker identification. The technology introduces a novel function to the captioning and translation workflow through a single-stream audio mix that dynamically identifies each speaker.

“Across our entire award-winning portfolio, ENCO continues to accentuate accessibility, clear comprehension and language support as core components of modern AV, broadcast and live content production,” added Frommert. ISE 2026 runs February 3-6 at the Fira de Barcelona in Spain.
