The Easiest Solution for Automated On-Prem Live Event Captioning

Economical, highly accurate with low latency, fully automated and runs on an ENCO computer we send to you – live captioning doesn’t get much easier than this!

Benefits from ENCO Stage Captioning

We’ve been providing automated live captioning to broadcasters since 2004, and now we can offer the same for live events and production companies, fully on-prem.

No need to use remote services when ENCO’s fully automated enCaption platform does the job while fully living in the same room as your event.

Audio is usually via XLR mono source from the PA, or can be adapted for Dante or HDMI / SDI de-embedding with optional configurations.

Many Display Options

Out of the box, enCaption delivers captions to a HDMI video output via HTML browser for full-screen dedicated captions to any display. Being HTML, you can customize the display colors, size and line count easily, and even add custom images or dynamic content since it’s a standard Web page.

Depending on your need, we can also overlay Open Captions onto an IMAG feed, and you can also send captions to any other browsers on the same VLAN, or embed CEA-608/708 Closed Caption data into an SDI signal for broadcast or Webcast. Extending to smart phones, tablets and other digital displays are also possible. In all cases, transcripts and sidecar files are always created and saved locally.

Customizations Abound

You can import custom Word Libraries to accommodate uniquely spelled names, words or jargon, and also create Corrective Filters for recurring spelling fixes (i.e. Kris Kane = Chris Cane) – even while the event unfolds in real-time!
