ENCO to Present Multilingual Translation Technology for Mobile Devices at ISE 2026

Novi, MI, January 21, 2025 – ENCO will take its award-winningenTranslate Mobile to the global AV stage next month, where ISE 2026 visitorsfrom around the world can see the in-venue translation technology in action.Making its international debut, enTranslate Mobilesolves the problem of how to caption/subtitle and translate presentations, panel discussions and more in the primary languages of people in the room.

enTranslateMobile empowers BYODaccessibility and multilingual inclusivity withinpublic spaces across all AV verticals, makingin-venue and corporate broadcast content accessible to all audience members ontheir personal devices. Since translated captions appear directly oneach user’s smartphone or tablet, venues can reduce or eliminate reliance on large video screens that would typically presenttranslated captions.

enTranslate Mobile offers direct access to multilingual captionsand translations during live events through QR codes posted in visible locationsaround the room. After scanning the QR code or entering a URL with theirsmartphone, users are redirected to a mobile-friendly website where captionsimmediately populate on screen. ENCO’s enTranslate Language Selector provides alist of languages to choose from, and users have instant access to the livetext stream upon their selection. Users can alsoscroll back in time to read what was said while viewing that language. Visitorsto the ENCO stand (EA780) can scan posted QR codes to experience enTranslateMobile.

enTranslate Mobile further simplifiesthe user experience by not forcing people to download or install an app,as the QR Code redirects users to the solution’s responsive web design forsmartphone browsers. Customers can deploy the translation software on-prem toremove the need for internet access, optimizing security inside corporatefacilities, universities, convention centers, and other sensitive environments. The solution is also deployable in cloud or hybrid configurations.

“In-room captioning is very often a requirementfor the live event experience, though the costs and complexity of providingmultiple translations have typically limited the scope of what businesses andevent organizers can reasonably offer,” Ken Frommert, President, ENCO.“enTranslate Mobile provides a solution to reduce integration costs fortemporary events by offering a technology that is quick to deploy, requiresminimal infrastructure, and provides instant access to accurate translations inthe languages that each attendee best understands.“

ISE2026 runs February 3-6 at the Fira de Barcelona in Spain.
