Novi, MI, August 24, 2026 – ENCO will bring its latest innovations for radio and television broadcasters to IBC2026, highlighting an expansive portfolio of intelligent technologies that simplify workflows, reduce operational demands and help media organizations achieve more with fewer resources. ENCO will demonstrate its latest advances across five key areas — Captioning, Translation, AI Production Tools, Automation and Virtual Production — at Stand 7.A34 in the Amsterdam RAI from September 11-14.
Several solutions will make their IBC debuts as ENCO demonstrates how broadcasters can apply AI, cloud technologies and intelligent automation across the content lifecycle. Highlights include the next generation of ENCO’s enCaption technology, the European debut of its enSpeak real-time voice translation solution, new AI tools for television and radio, and the IBC debut of the latest Qimera Virtual Production innovations. Together, ENCO’s IBC showcase reflects an expanding technology ecosystem designed to make sophisticated broadcast workflows easier to deploy, operate and scale.
- Captioning: ENCO will demonstrate its industry-leading enCaption suite for automated, highly accurate live captioning, with an emphasis on the next-generation enCaption Sierra platform. Sierra represents the future direction of ENCO’s captioning technology, offering flexible on-premises and cloud deployment while bringing continued improvements in language support and accuracy. ENCO will also showcase its Raptor cloud captioning encoder, extending the company’s captioning capabilities for modern IP and cloud-based broadcast workflows.
- Translation: ENCO extends accessibility from captions into multilingual text and speech through enTranslate and enSpeak, with enSpeak making its IBC debut. enTranslate transforms live captions into multilingual text translations in real time, while enSpeak adds natural-sounding, low-latency voice translation so audiences can hear programming in their preferred language.
- Artificial Intelligence: ENCO will preview a new AI-powered video solution that automatically identifies and extracts compelling segments from long-form programming for repurposing across social and digital platforms. ENCO will also demonstrate SPOTai, which rapidly generates professional video advertisements for television, digital and social media; SPECai, its AI-powered radio advertising platform for producing broadcast-ready commercials in seconds; and aiTrack, its cloud-native, automation-agnostic platform for generating, localizing and scheduling dynamic AI-driven audio content for on-air radio.
- Automation: ENCO returns to IBC with its proven DAD radio automation system alongside its VDESK system for compelling visual radio and video production applications; as well as its streamlined A-LIST TV automation system. The three systems reflect ENCO’s broad automation and production footprint across radio and television, giving broadcasters flexible options to streamline daily operations, reduce repetitive manual intervention, and extend automated efficiencies across modern multimedia broadcast environments.
- Virtual Production: ENCO will showcase Qimera, its Unreal Engine-based real-time 3D compositing platform for immersive virtual environments, augmented reality graphics and dynamic live productions. ENCO will complement Qimera with a whisper-quiet robotic pan/tilt head engineered to precisely position larger camera and lens payloads while supporting VISCA over IP control.
“Broadcasters everywhere are being challenged to do more with less, and ENCO offers intelligent, easy-to-use technologies to caption and translate content, create and repurpose programming, automate daily operations and produce compelling live television and radio broadcasts,” said Ken Frommert, President of ENCO. European broadcasters operate within very specific staffing and business guidelines, so technology that simplifies workflows and enables smaller teams to accomplish more can have an immediate impact. Our IBC showcase demonstrates how ENCO is applying AI for audience accessibility and automation/production tools to help broadcasters work more efficiently and increase audience size.”
ENCO will exhibit at Stand 7.A34 at IBC2026, taking place September 11-14 at the Amsterdam RAI.
